Matthew 5:13 – You Are Salt – To illustrate to children that they can make a good impact wherever they are right now. Uses seasoned and unseasoned food to make a point.
Matthew 5:16 – Walking Signs – The children will take with them the knowledge that all of us are a walking sign of God’s love. Others can tell by our actions.
Matthew 6:25 – What You Wear – The children will realize that God loves them just as they are, no “dressing up” required.
Matthew 18:10-11 – Guardian Angels – To help the children understand that God has provided Guardian Angels just for each of them.
Matthew 19 – God’s Love – Love is reserved for those people with whom we are very close.
Matthew 25:1 – Do What You Can – Does everyone have the same gifts and talents? We must use our different talents to serve the Lord.

Matthew 25:35 – Stone Soup for Thanksgiving – This may be out best Children’s Church lesson. The children will learn what a church family can do and how important each person is to the church and to God!
