Acts 13:22 – Love God Like Young David – To illustrate that the love of God can be nurtured at any age.

Galatians 6:7 – Planting Seeds –To teach children that their words and deeds can cause good things to grow in the world… and harmful things too.
Hebrews 3:13 – Friendship – To show our love for Jesus thorough friendship – encouragement of others.
Hebrews 4:12 – The Power of Words – Teach kids that the words they use are powerful, and can hurt others, as well as help them.
Hebrews 11:1 – A God We Can’t See –To encourage children in their faith in God, even when we can’t see Him.
Hebrews 11:6 – Faith – What Does It Mean? – To teach the meaning of the word faith.
James 4:7 – All to Jesus – The core of the message is to help kids understand what it means to trust Jesus with everything they are and have.
James 5:16 – Bedtime Prayers – A skit to help children to remember to say their bedtime prayers.
John 3:16 – God Loves You and Others Too! – God sent his only son to teach us love for one another and the world.
John 4 – Springing Up from Christ’s Love – Christ’s Spirit in us helps us grow strong.
John 14:1 – It’s Hard to Wait –To teach children that even though it’s hard to wait, God will always answer our prayers, and someday, he will return to earth.
John 14:13-14 -Pray for a Miracle – Learning how to ask God for Blessings
John 14:27 – My Peace I Give You – To teach kids a way to let God enter into their strong emotions, day by day.
John 14:16 – The Holy Spirit – The Holy spirit is your best friend!
John 15:14 – A Relationship with God – God wants to have a friendship with all Christians.
Luke 2:11 – Remember Jesus – A great Christmas lesson using a candy cane.
Luke 11 – The Light Within – We may have a talent that would “shine” but we are never encouraged to do so.
Luke 12:7 – You are Valuable to Jesus – To remind children that God watches over us and protects us as his valuable possessions.
Luke 15 – Lost Things Found –Using the parables of The Lost Sheep, the Lost Coin, and the Lost Son the children will learn that God will.
Luke 17:11 – Thankful for Thanksgiving – Using the story of the ten lepers the children will learn to give thanks to God.
Luke 17:15 – Jesus and the Lepers- The children learn to be thankful and grateful.
Mark 6:45-51 – Jesus Walks on Water – Jesus wants us to reach out to Him when we are afraid or when we have a problem.
Mark 12 – The Widow’s Offering – For the children to learn to be a cheerful giver using Mark 12:41-44. The widow’s offering.
Mark 12:30 – Valentine’s Day – God’s Love – God’s love is in our heart.
Matthew 5:13 – You Are Salt – To illustrate to children that they can make a good impact wherever they are right now. Uses seasoned and unseasoned food to make a point.
Matthew 5:16 – Walking Signs – The children will take with them the knowledge that all of us are a walking sign of God’s love. Others can tell by our actions.
Matthew 6:25 – What You Wear – The children will realize that God loves them just as they are, no “dressing up” required.
Matthew 6:26 – Jesus My Provider – There is no need to worry. God will protect and provide for us.
Matthew 18:10-11 – Guardian Angels – To help the children understand that God has provided Guardian Angels just for each of them.
Matthew 19 – God’s Love – Love is reserved for those people with whom we are very close.
Matthew 19:14 – You are Important -Children learn that they are important to God and that He sends his angels to protect them.
Matthew 25:1 – Do What You Can – Does everyone have the same gifts and talents? We must use our different talents to serve the Lord.
Matthew 22:37 – The Whole Cookie – To teach children that God wants all of our heart, not just part.
Matthew 25:35 – Stone Soup for Thanksgiving – This may be out best Children’s Church lesson. The children will learn what a church family can do and how important each person is to the church and to God!
Philippians 4:4 – Rejoice in the Lord Always – To remind kids that God has given us a reason to celebrate… always!
Philippians 4:13 – Christ is Power – To help children learn that when they turn to Christ his power lives within them.
Revelation 22:16 – The Candle and the Sun – We can shine through the light of Jesus.
2 Chronicles 1:10 – Be Wise Like Solomon – To be wise is to value wisdom over material possessions.
1 John 5:3 – This is Love – To help kids have a better understanding of what it means to love God.
1 John 4:19 – Valentines Day – Soaking Up God’s Love – Love starts with God!
1 Thessalonians 5:17 – Pray Without Ceasing –To learn to have a conversation with God the Father often through prayer.
1 Timothy 4:12 – Back to School With Jesus – A special back to school sermon teaching the children to take the love of Jesus to school with them.
